Case Description:

Child presenting unresponsive to ED without cause. Subject must consider causes of unresponsiveness (trauma, seizure, ingestion) and obtain appropriate history and physical data to guide management.

Usage Details:

Primary objective of case is to evaluate residents ability to identify and treat an ingestion. Whether the primary agent (clondine) is identifies is a minor point; differntiating ingestion for other causes of coma is the key.
