Case Description:

34 year old female presented with 2 episodes of syncope after an afternoon nap. EKG showed a prolonged QT. Delay in correcting her electrolyte abnormalities lead to patient developing torsades de pointes. This case teaches about syncope: the diffential and management, and also teaches about the causes and management of torsades de pointes.
