After Recognizing VF or Pulseless VT

Immediate Action:

Apply coupling agent to paddles

Verify a shockable rhythm

Charge the defibrillator

Place paddles on sternum and apex

CLEAR

Press shock delivery buttons simultaneously

Observe for patient response
