Three Consectutive Shocks:

Rhythm checks, but no pulse checks.

The paddles do not leave the chest until

1. The patient is no longer in VF

2. Three shocks are delivered (200J, 300J, 360J)

 

“CLEAR”
The defibrillator operator is most susceptible to inadvertent shocks
“I’m clear. You’re clear. I’m shocking NOW.”
No pulse check between shocks
